v-Pitch, Inc. (“v-Pitch”) is committed to protecting the privacy of your information and wants you to be familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose information. This Privacy Policy describes our Website privacy practices.
1. Websites Covered
This Privacy Policy covers the information practices of v-Pitch on its Website: http://www.v-Pitch.com; (referred to as “v-Pitch Websites” or “Site”).
v-Pitch’s Websites may contain links to third party sites. Additionally, v-Pitch’s services are used by customers to deliver video presentations that are embedded and linked within their own Websites and third party sites. v-Pitch is not responsible for the information practices or content of its customers or third party sites.
2. Information Collected
v-Pitch, Inc. offers a variety of applications and services that are collectively referred to as the “Service.” v-Pitch collects information from individuals who visit the v-Pitch’s Websites (“Visitors”) and individuals who register to use the Service (“Customers”). Customers should also refer to v-Pitch’s Terms of Service for the appropriate offering.
The types of information v-Pitch collects (“Personal Information”) may include:
- Information you provide to v-Pitch – When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Service or registering to use the Service, v-Pitch may require you to provide personal contact information, such as your name, your company name, your title, your address, your phone number, and your email address.
- Website navigational information – v-Pitch uses commonly used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and Web beacons, to collect information as you navigate v-Pitch’s Websites (“Website Navigational Information”). This Website Information includes standard information from your Web browser (such as browser type, version, and language), your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and the actions you take on v-Pitch’s Websites (such as, pages viewed, links clicked).
- Information you publish to v-Pitch blogs or public portals – v-Pitch’s Websites include public blogs, portals, and support forums, that allow Visitors to submit and publish comments.
- Billing information – For certain editions of our Service that are purchased using a credit card, v-Pitch requires you to provide billing information, such as your billing name and address, and your credit card number.
- Information you provide to Customers – A capability of the Service allows Customers to request registration information from viewers of their video presentation content. v-Pitch is not responsible for the information practices of its Customers, and does not access this information except with Customer’s permission to provide Support and assistance.
3. Use of Information Collected
v-Pitch uses data about Visitors and Customers to perform the following actions:
- To respond to your request – such as to create a v-Pitch account, provide login information or provide technical support.
- For marketing purposes – v-Pitch may use information you provide to contact you to further discuss your interest in the Service and to send you information regarding v-Pitch or its Service.
- To improve v-Pitch’s Websites and products – v-Pitch may use Website Navigational Information to provide Visitors and Customers with relevant content and in the aggregate to identify trends and usage patterns.
- To deliver messages that help you use the Service – As part of helping its Customers use the Service effectively, v-Pitch communicates with its Customers about new features and product releases, best practices, scheduled site maintenance notifications, customer events, and more. To increase the relevancy of this information, this may be customized to your designated user role within the application (for example: administrator, user, account manager, billing manager), products or editions you have specifically licensed, or your usage of the application.
- To process your payment – v-Pitch uses credit card information solely to process payment for Service for which the Customer has provided that information. v-Pitch utilizes a third party payment service to process credit card payments. When you provide credit card information on the Site, that information is sent directly to the third party payment service. v-Pitch does not have access to your full credit card number and does not store such information in its own systems. Information transmitted to the third party payment service is encrypted using SSL software. The third party payment service is required to comply with all applicable privacy and security laws and the rules and regulations issued by the credit card companies. v-Pitch is not responsible for the third party payment service’s failure to comply with such laws, rules and/or regulations.
- To deliver the features of the Service – Customers use the Service to Create, Share, and Track online and mobile video presentations. As part of the Sharing features, Customers and Viewers may provide the email of the person to Share the content with. Tracking information includes the date and time that a presentation was viewed, IP address and location, what portion(s) of the content were viewed and in what order. Individual information may be associated with this tracking information, either through information you provide to the Customer or by a unique identifier that the Customer has associated with an individual and has passed to a personalized presentation URL. Reporting and Notification features enable Customers to receive tracking information via emailed reports or to pass data to their other systems. v-Pitch does not use or access individual information collected by its Customers in their use of the Service except with permission in providing Support and assistance. v-Pitch does not sell this information.
4. Sharing of Information Collected
Unless described in this Privacy Policy, v-Pitch does not share, sell, rent, or trade any information collected through its Website or Service with third parties for their promotional purposes.
5. Aggregate Information
The Site may track information that will be maintained, used and disclosed in aggregate form only and which will not contain your personally identifiable information, for example, without limitation, the total number of visitors to our Site, the number of visitors to each page of our Site, browser type, External Web Sites (defined below) linked to and IP addresses. We may analyze this data for trends and statistics in the aggregate, and we may use such aggregate information to administer the Site, track users’ movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
Communications Preferences
v-Pitch provides you with the ability to review and update the registration information that you provide to us by accessing and modifying this information on your user profile page.
v-Pitch offers Customers and Visitors who provide contact information a means to choose how v-Pitch uses the information provided. Visitors and any recipients of marketing messages from v-Pitch may click on the “unsubscribe” link located on the top and bottom of the v-Pitch’s emails. Customers can change their communication preferences at any time through the user profile page when logged in to the Service or can opt out of communications that help you use the Service.
Some email communications are part of Service, such as the ability to receive reports or view notifications via email. For help in managing these emails, contact support@v-Pitch.com.
Customers cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to their account with v-Pitch or the Service. For our individual user products, this means we need to communicate with you as the account holder. For our enterprise editions, v-Pitch needs to communicate with your primary business contact and/or site administrator(s).
Public Blogs and Portals
v-Pitch’s Websites include public blogs, portals, and support forums, that allow Visitors to submit and post comments. v-Pitch also provides portal solutions for its customers.
Any Personal Information you choose to submit in these forums may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these sites. v-Pitch is not responsible for the Personal Information you choose to submit to public sites for posting. If you do not want information to be public, please do not post it to these sites.
Transfer of Information
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside of the United States and choose to provide Personal Information to us, v-Pitch transfers the information to the United States and processes it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
Childrens’ Privacy
v-Pitch’s Websites and the Service are not directed to Visitors under 18. As v-Pitch provides Service to businesses and business professionals, v-Pitch does not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided v-Pitch with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at support@v-Pitch.com. If you believe that we have mistakenly or unintentionally collected such information through our Site, please notify us at the contact address below so that we may immediately delete the information from our servers.
Cookies
We may use small files called cookies to improve overall experience. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Cookies generally do not permit us to personally identify you.
Security
We may employ procedural and technological measures, consistent with industry practice. Such measures are reasonably designed to help protect your personally identifiable information from loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. v-Pitch may use encryption, secure socket layer and other security measures to help prevent unauthorized access to your personally identifiable information.
Links to Third Party Sites
The Site may provide links to other Web sites or resources over which v-Pitch does not have control (“External Web Sites”). Such links do not constitute an endorsement by v-Pitch of those External Web Sites. You acknowledge that v-Pitch is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and further agree that v-Pitch is not responsible for the content of such External Web Sites. Your use of External Web Sites is subject to the terms of use and privacy policies located on the linked to External Web Sites.
v-Pitch uses a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing. This third party service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use Billing Information except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on v-Pitch’s behalf.
Disclosure
We will disclose your personally identifiable information (a) only if we are required to do so by law, regulation or other government authority or otherwise in cooperation with an ongoing investigation of a governmental authority, (b) to enforce the v-Pitch Terms of Service agreement or to protect our rights or (c) to protect the safety of users of our Site and our services.
We will not sell your personally identifiable information to any company or organization except we may transfer your personally identifiable information to a successor entity upon a merger, consolidation or other corporate reorganization in which v-Pitch participates or to a purchaser or acquirer of all or substantially all of v-Pitch’s assets to which this Site relates.
Additional Important Information
Our computer systems are currently based in the United States, so your personal data will be processed by us in the U.S. where data protection and privacy regulations may not offer the same level of protection as in other parts of the world, such as the European Union. If you create a user account with the Site as a visitor from outside the United States, by using the Site you agree to this Privacy Policy and you consent to the transfer of all such information to the United States, which may not offer an equivalent level of protection of that required in the European Union or certain other countries, and to the processing of that information as described in this Privacy Policy.

v-Pitch, Inc. reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time without prior notice. v-Pitch will post the change(s) to this Privacy Policy in this section when it is updated. If v-Pitch is going to use your Personal Information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, v-Pitch will notify you and you will have a choice as to whether or not v-Pitch uses your Personal Information in this different manner.
